A meeting on the coordination of mobile communication networks between Azerbaijan and Iran was held in Tehran. The Azerbaijani delegation included experts from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT), the Information and Communication Technologies Agency (ICTA), the State Administration of Radio Frequencies (SARF), and mobile network operators.
The discussions focused on the regulation of existing and future mobile communication networks in the border areas of both countries, resulting in the adoption of necessary technical agreements.
The meeting also reviewed the progress made under the agreements reached in Baku on June 10–12, 2025, regarding TV and FM radio broadcasts and the clearance of the 700/800 MHz bands.
Both sides agreed to continue their cooperation on these matters.
