University of Calabria Professor Delivers Lecture for BSU Researchers

An online scientific seminar organized by the Young Scientists Council was held at the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University (BSU).

The seminar brought together faculty members, doctoral candidates, and students.

Cristian Vacasela Gomez, a professor at the University of Calabria, delivered a lecture titled “Plasmon Resonance in Low-Dimensional Materials and Related Applications.”

Lala Gahramanli, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials, provided an overview of their joint research, including studies on graphene-based materials, exploration of their potential applications, and related theoretical calculations.

The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to discuss the topic in detail.
