Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates discuss cooperation in banking sector

Chairman of the Central Bank Taleh Kazimov has said that Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) discussed prospects for cooperation in the banking sector.

Kazimov made a post on his X account in this regard, innews.media reports.

"Our first meeting as part of the working visit to the UAE was held in Abu Dhabi with Governor of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE Khaled Mohammed Balama. During the meeting we exchanged views on the current economic ties between the two countries, the development of both countries’ financial sector, and the current state and future areas of cooperation between the central banks," the post reads.
